About me

My name is Mette Klint, I am an award winning photographer based near Roskilde, Denmark. By profession, I am a constructing architect and work as a construction manager at Enemærke & Petersen. Alongside my technical career, I have nurtured my passion for visual art since 2015 and also completed my photography studies at KPP in 2023.
Photography is my sanctuary, a space where time slows down, and I reconnect with myself. It offers a calming contrast to the craziness in the construction world. I'm especially drawn to flowers: their fragile strength, their wild elegance, and the stories they tell. Each image is an intentional composition of light and shadow, balancing the feminine with the masculine, reflecting the poetry and rawness of nature.
People often say, “You are always out traveling” — and it is true, I love traveling with my camera. I am a traveler at heart, endlessly inspired by the sights, rhythms, and textures of the world. But I also find deep peace in returning home. My creative journey began in music. I grew up playing the flute, eventually leading as a drummajor and teaching music to children in a marching band. But in 2015 I traded instruments for a camera, and photography has been my artistic voice ever since.
Through my work, I invite you to see the world as I do, in all its quiet strength, intricate beauty, and wild poetry. Each photograph is more than a visual moment, it is an emotional landscape. A reflection of how I see, feel, and connect with nature, light, and emotion. I strive to create images with harmonious composition, letting light and shadow dance together. My photographs are a celebration of contrast, the delicate and the bold, the gentle and the wild. They are my tribute to nature’s duality: its elegance and chaos, its serenity and untamed soul.
Thank you for taking the time to step into my world. Each photograph you see here is created with care, presence, and a deep love for nature’s quiet magic and bold contrasts.
When you choose a piece of my art, you are not just bringing home an image, you are inviting in a feeling, a mood, a story. I hope my work will bring light, calm, and inspiration into your space, just as creating it has done for me.
If you have any questions or special wishes, I am always happy to hear from you.
With warmth and gratitude
Mette
